Paul Vasil, 82 of Rotonda West, FL died on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. He was born on July 4, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio to George and Ann (Ferko) Vasil. Paul worked for General Motors for 25 years retiring as a foreman. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the Elks, Moose and Eagles. His hobbies included fishing and golfing. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Jacqueline, a sister: Lucille Hornick and ex-wife Dolores Vasil.. He is survived by his companion, Patricia Geng of Rotonda West, FL; three children, John (Mary) Vasil of Broadview Heights, OH; Victoria Vasil of N. Royalton, OH; Linda Vasil of Broadview Heights, OH; two grandchildren, Adam and Kara Vasil, his niece, Toni Hornick and her son Daniel. Services will be at a later date in Ohio.
