Donald R. Sunday, 68, of Rotonda West passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital. Born on January 29, 1947 in State College, PA to the late Donald and Evelyn Sunday, he had been a resident of Charlotte County for fifteen years coming from Centre County, PA. He was a librarian for Centre County Libraries for several years prior to retirement. A volunteer for the Sun Coast Humane Society he was a member of the Englewood United Methodist Church and co-chaired the annual rummage sales for the last three years. Don was a devout dog lover (especially German shepherds) he loved all animals. He is survived by his dear friend: Ralph Verdini and an aunt: Gayle Sunday and several cousins. Friends may visit from 10 Am until service time at 11 Am on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Englewood Community Funeral Home with Private Crematory, 3070 South McCall Road. Reverend Vic Willis from Englewood United Methodist Church will officiate.
