Richard Law Bader, 75 of Englewood died Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at his Charlotte county residence.
He was born October 13, 1934 in Jamaica, NY. Richard has been a resident of Charlotte County since 1980 coming from Huntsville, TX.
He served in the US Navy as a submariner for 23 years retiring as a Sr. Chief Hospital Corpsman. He was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Englewood.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years; Carol A. Bader of Englewood: three daughters; Ruth Myers of Huntsville, TX. Beverly Jan Bader of Blairsville, GA., Terry Roberson of Maypearll, TX: two step-daughters; Clare Tarcha of Steamboat Springs, CO., Ann Banting of Englewood, FL: one step-son; Vincent Cennamo, III of Calverton, NY: twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at Oakwood Cemetery in Huntsville, TX. at a later date.
