Florence Rose Colicci, 71 of Englewood, died peacefully at her Charlotte County home on Sunday, August 23, 2009. She was born on September 11, 1937 in Providence, RI to Arthur and Rose (DiMunzio) Vallesi. Florence moved to this area in 1994 from Seekonk, MA.
She worked for the Englewood Area Board of Realtors for many years. Florence loved dining, dancing and socializing with the many wonderful and supportive friends she and her husband made while living in Englewood. She enjoyed the beach, watching sunsets and traveling. Florence had a wonderful smile that could light up a room; her love for life and laughter was infectious.She will be greatly missed by her loving family and the many dear friends she has made here in Florida.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years; Paul Colicci: three children; Paula (Donald) Smith of Cranston, RI., Steven (Julia) Colicci of Corte Madre, CA., Raymond (Kimberly) Colicci of Portsmouth, RI: two sisters; Marie Crudale of E. Providence, RI., Melvina Cortellessa of Warwick, RI: one brother; Emilio Vallesi of Providence, RI and six loving grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 12 at 11:00 AM at the Englewood Community Funeral Home, Inc. 3070 S. McCall Rd.
