Nancy J. Jackson, 50, of North Port, formerly of West Islip, NY died Monday July 6, 2009, at Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care in Port Charlotte.
She was born on October 9, 1958 at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Islip, NY to Robert L. and Catherine M. (Farrington) Rossbotham and then lived in Lindenhurst, NY.
Mrs. Jackson moved to Florida in 1989. She was a scheduler for the Home Depot in Port Charlotte and was a communicant of San Pedro Catholic Church. Nancy enjoyed attending her children’s plays and watching them play sports.
Survivors include her loving husband of twenty-four years: James F.Jackson, one daughter: Amanda Jean, one son: Christopher James, three sisters: Kathi Miller of Bolder, CO; Debbie Gorton of Littleton, CO; Barbara Rossiello of Lindenhurst, NY; two brothers: Robert Rossbotham of W. Davenport, NY and Richard Rossbotham of Coram, NY. She is also survived by her mother-in-law: Ann M. Jackson of Englewood, FL.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2009 from 1 PM to 3 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 3070 South McCall Rd. A Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at 11 AM at San Pedro Catholic Church 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port.
