Amy Sheldon Bland
Amy S. Bland, 90, died May 14, 2009 at her Port Charlotte residence. She was born April 16, 1919 in Paterson, NJ to Joseph Winston and Caroline (Pearson) Bland.
Amy was a member of St. David Episcopal Church in Englewood and enjoyed reading and knitting scarfs and hats for the military overseas.
Survivors include her daughter; Sharyn (Dennis) Ciabatoni of Port Charlotte: one brother Joseph W. Sheldon, Jr. of Tamarak, Fl., 3 grand children and 3 great grand children.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 20 from 1 to 5 PM at Englewood Community Funeral Home 3070 S. McCall Rd. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 21 at 11 AM at St. David Episcopla Church 401 S. Broadway. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
