Jo-Ann Verna

Jo-Ann Verna has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in the State of Florida since 1980. A graduate of Miami-Dade Junior College, she has served on the Board of Directors of the Florida Funeral Directors Association; was an item writer for the Florida State Board; and had pioneered the field of pre-arrangement in the early days of its conception. A Past President of the Englewood-Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce, she has lived in Englewood since 1990 and founded the Englewood Community Funeral Home, Inc. in 1993.

David D. Gallentine

David D. Gallentine has been a funeral service professional since 1985. He graduated from Cantonsville Community College in Baltimore, Maryland with his AA degree in Mortuary Science. He taught restorative art techniques at Cantonsville College while working as a funeral director and embalmer with a locally owned funeral home. Dave retired from the National Guard in 2001as a Chief Warrant Officer after twenty-one years. He and his wife, Patricia moved to Florida in December 2004.
